The studio
Charlene Anne Cordero
I run Chainnes, a one-person solarpunk studio in the Philippines. I build technology that can live beside the living world.
The work covers business intelligence, full-stack development, AI and automation, IoT and robotics, and AR and VR. The niche is deliberate. I want the advanced tools — models, machines, sensors, immersive layers — and I want them harmless: regenerative, renewable, recyclable, and useful to people who are already protecting the earth.
Since 2018 I have worked inside large operations. Business insights. Technical operations in telecom. DevOps for an energy provider. Mobile quality. Health-technology support. Enterprise systems. The lesson I kept is small. A process can be made lighter, and the person closest to the work should still be able to see what the system did, pause it, and correct it.
Chainnes is that lesson as a studio, opened in October 2026. It is solo on purpose. One person can hold a system from the first conversation through the day it runs, and can turn down work that extracts more than it restores. The projects and digital products on this site are concepts. They are drawings of the practice, not a catalog of finished client work.
Mission
Build with intelligence. Automate with purpose.
I make technology that is useful, repairable, and harmless. Intelligence and automation should give time and care back to people doing regenerative work. They should not take someone’s data, materials, or place as the price of that help.
Vision
Advanced tools, still at home in a living landscape.
I am working toward a future where software, machines, and energy systems sit in the world the way a well-tended garden does: productive, renewable, and possible to keep. In the Philippines first. Wherever the work is welcome after that.
Principles
What the work has to be.
- Regenerative
- Prefer work that restores energy, materials, attention, and place.
- Repairable
- Design for the person who will maintain it, not for a replacement cycle.
- Harmless
- Decline systems that hide their cost, their data trail, or their waste.
- Nearby
- Keep private data and inference close to the people they belong to.
- One loop
- A person stays able to inspect, pause, and correct.
Path
The work before the studio.
-
2024 — present
Business Insights Analyst
BPO and digital services. Enterprise insights, and the slow move from repetitive reporting toward automation a person can still audit.
-
2022 — 2023
Technical and Business Operations Analyst
Telecom. Service workflows, root-cause diagnostics, and records people can trust.
-
2021 — 2022
DevOps Engineer
An energy provider. Pipelines, deployment, and systems that are supposed to stay up.
-
2020 — 2021
Mobile QA Specialist
Software. End-to-end checks, and the friction a person actually feels on a device.
-
2020
Health advocate support
Remote health technology. Care coordination, and workflows that have to be careful.
-
2018 — 2019
Oracle PeopleSoft Developer
Enterprise consultancy. Reporting, integrations, and the systems an organization already depends on.
