Sensors that stay nearby

A garden, a workshop, or a small grid does not need its readings to live in someone else’s account. Soil, rain, and solar can speak on the local network and emit only the metrics that place actually needs.

What that asks of the software is modest and strict. The node should keep working when the wider network does not. The message should be small. The person who maintains the sensor should be able to read the status without a specialist. I would rather a reading stay on the plot than travel far for a chart no one asked for.

Agents can help me sketch the notes and the board. The sensor still belongs to the place.
